Dance Instructor

About the role

Sun Country Sports Center® is seeking an energetic and experienced dance instructor to join our team for evening and Saturday classes.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of dance styles including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Basics
• Work with students of various ages from Preschool to Advanced levels
• Manage classrooms effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
• Continuously develop and refine teaching techniques and curriculum
• Participate in teaching demonstrations as part of the interview process

Requirements

• Professional teaching experience
• Thorough training and knowledge of dance technique
• Solid classroom management skills
• Positive energy, strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Intermediate and Advanced Tap Dance
• Training and experience teaching young children
• Formal training and experience in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Hip-Hop

Skills

• Ability to teach multiple styles, ages, and levels

Pay

This is a year-round position, with preference for candidates who can commit for at least two years.

Schedule

Evening and Saturday classes are offered.
