Responsibilities
- Deliver high-energy, value-added service to exceed client expectations on a variety of assignments across industries and roles.
- Learn quickly, make an immediate impact, and provide solutions that add tangible value to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, firm leadership, and peers through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate confidence in your professional aptitude and effectively convey your skills, knowledge, and qualifications to clients.
- Actively contribute as a team player with a long-term commitment to the growth of the local office and the firm overall.
- Embrace an entrepreneurial spirit and engage in additional professional experiences such as business development and recruiting.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
- External auditors from large CPA firms with 2+ years of experience, including at least one busy season as a senior.
- Combo candidates with external audit and corporate accounting and/or finance experience at a large public corporation are also considered.
- CPA certification or progression toward it is preferred.
- Corporate accounting and/or finance experience at a large public corporation is a plus but not required.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) rules and standards.
- Strong computer desktop skills; advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., macros, pivot tables) are desirable.
- Demonstrated career progression and job stability.
