About the role

As a Digital Assurance Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing to the team's success.

Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a team that enhances trust and confidence in financial and non-financial information, providing independent assessments that uphold transparency and compliance. As an Intern, you will adopt a learning mindset and take ownership of your development, appreciating diverse perspectives and actively listening to understand and express ideas clearly. You will gather information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, committing to understanding how the business works and building commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting audit teams in conducting assessments of financial reporting and decision-making processes
  • Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to uphold transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
  • Assisting in the evaluation of internal controls and compliance auditing to promote responsible and ethical behavior within organizations
  • Engaging in basic tasks and research to contribute to the team's success and enhance personal development
  • Applying a learning mindset to understand professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct
  • Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns in financial data
  • Collaborating with team members to support client-focused assurance services and drive business forward

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

Pay

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
