About the role

The Manager will partner with clients to identify and manage complex business problems and provide best-in-class advice and solutions. They will develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking, devise solutions to support clients' needs through the use of the latest tools and methods, and foster lasting relationships with client personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Execute manufacturing AI techniques in prompt development and Machine Learning techniques.
  • Execute discrete flow simulation modeling.
  • Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in areas such as asset utilization, throughput, productivity, quality, and waste management.
  • Collaborate with plant floor personnel to understand operational challenges and design data-driven solutions that improve productivity and support their roles.
  • Develop and deploy analytics models, dashboards, and reporting tools tailored to plant floor needs.
  • Lead and manage multiple process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.
  • Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions to identify opportunities, validate findings, and refine recommendations.
  • Conduct ROI and financial impact analyses for proposed operational changes or capital expenditures.
  • Implement and track process modifications, including equipment selection, process flow redesign, and operational standards development.
  • Maintain and ensure data integrity across manufacturing systems; support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Provide real-time analysis and reporting to enable quick identification and resolution of manufacturing issues.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, quality, logistics) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in training plant personnel on new systems, standards, and best practices.
  • Evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret data.
  • Establish and cultivate business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.
  • Successfully pursue business development opportunities and identify and implement strategies to obtain new work or clientele.
  • Translate and communicate issues, risks, or challenges to client personnel, including executives.
  • Lead and mentor teams, conduct performance appraisals, and oversee work.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience with operations technology and data tag analysis and manipulation. Experience in a manufacturing environment, with direct exposure to plant floor operations and operations technology. Solid understanding of the financial aspects of manufacturing, including cost analysis and ROI calculations. Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications, and experience with data historians such as OSIsoft.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business-Related Field).
  • 5+ years working in Consulting, Manufacturing, Manufacturing/Industrial/Equipment Engineering, Operations Technology, Manufacturing AI, Operational Digital Twins, Discrete Flow Simulation or related field, either in professional services or industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data & AI to solve manufacturing problems and improve operational outcomes.
  • Proficiency in AI tools such as Microsoft Data Foundry (or equivalent), ChatGPT, Claude, Co-Pilot, NVIDIA.
  • Experience in program or project management, with a track record of successfully running multiple improvement projects.
  • Solid understanding of the financial aspects of manufacturing, including cost analysis and ROI calculations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for plant floor personnel and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Secondary emphasis on Visio, Access, SQL, Python, and Tableau / Power BI.
  • Experience with data historians such as OSIsoft, an understanding of data tags and high value use-cases is a plus.
  • Professional Certification such as CPM, CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, TPM, Six Sigma/ Lean Six Sigma, Certified Scrum Professional, or similar strongly preferred.
