About the role
The Dairy Reproductive Specialist (AI Technician) will provide professional and personalized Artificial Insemination service and breeding program assistance to members and customers, resulting in improved profit potential and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide Artificial Insemination (AI) services to members and customers
- Provide Breeding Program assistance to members and customers
- Sell GENEX AI services, semen, products and programs
- Provide reproductive management expertise to members that will improve reproductive performance in their herds
- Make farm visits with prospects to develop and gain new customers
Requirements
- Strong dairy background with experience working with dairy cows
- Degree in Agriculture or equivalent experience is preferred
- Experience in heat detection on large farms
- Aggressive sales and service person who is self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must possess communication and people skills
- Willingness to learn and develop both personally and professionally
- Computer skills are required; and ability to work with herd management software is a plus

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position is 99% dairy emphasis and 1% beef emphasis.
