Key Responsibilities
- Recognize, greet, and engage guests upon entry.
- Hire, train, and manage performance of team members.
- Distribute information to the entire department.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere, spirit, and morale within the department.
- Manage time and delegate effectively.

- Execute and meet financial goals.
- Identify and address areas of opportunity.
- Ensure quality and consistent product availability.
- Safeguard, control, and monitor department assets.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Plan production and promotion goals.
- Coach and discipline team members.
- Update books and manuals.
- Oversee inventory process and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to food safety procedures.
- Acknowledge and approve purchase orders.
- Keep shelves stocked with ad merchandise and back stock.
- Enforce proper rotation procedures.
- Place and maintain proper condition of tags.
- Manage conflicts effectively.
Key Requirements
- Age 18 or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in grocery or dairy departments.
- Ability to work shifts as needed.
- Professional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical abilities to perform tasks such as bending, squatting, standing, lifting up to 75 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs., working in freezers/fridges, and receiving phone calls at home.
- Technical skills to perform basic math and computer tasks (Word, Excel, Email).
- Flexibility to work various hours/shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to attend meetings, including out-of-town, requiring overnight stays.
- Ability to transfer to another store within the area.
- Team player and ability to get along with others.
