We’re seeking an experienced, tech-savvy Dairy Management Advisor knowledgeable about cow health to help our customers boost their operational success with smaXtec’s technology.
Responsibilities
- Manages and supports installation of smaXtec on farm at our customer’s premises
- Utilizes system and data collection to analyze return on investment and proactively supports customer success and experience
- Builds and establishes long-term customer relationships and utilizes upselling potential
- Trains and supports customers with the implementation and use of our system
- Performs troubleshooting and collaborates with internal teams to resolve issues timely
- Provides solution-oriented and competent advice for a wide range of customer inquiries
- Presents and represents smaXtec at agricultural trade fairs and events
- Efficient use of our CRM system for daily work
Requirements
- A minimum of four years of experience in the dairy industry, preferably as a herd manager or responsible for cattle health or feeding
- At least two years of experience in an Account Manager or consultant role, preferably in the dairy industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science, Animal Health, or related field preferred
- Passionate about cows and the dairy industry
- Enjoy being out in the field and having direct contact with farmers
- Advanced knowledge of the dairy industry and cow health protocols
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Open to travel, including overnight travel, approximately 50% of the time in the US and internationally as needed
- Enthusiasm for innovative agri-technologies and a good hands-on mentality, with a proactive, customer- and solution-oriented approach
- Due to the nature of this role and its required proximity to customers, candidates must live in Wisconsin
