Dairy Lead

About the Role

A Day In The Life As a Dairy Department Lead, you’ll help ensure our dairy section is fresh, organized, and fully stocked for our customers. You’ll rotate and shelve products, monitor freshness, maintain clean and visually appealing displays, and provide friendly assistance to shoppers. You’ll also support inventory accuracy and assist with receiving and placing orders to keep the department running smoothly. This role is active and fast-paced, requiring comfort working in cooler environments and being on your feet throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Rotate and shelve dairy products to maintain freshness and organization
• Monitor product freshness and maintain clean, visually appealing displays
• Assist customers with friendly and helpful service
• Support inventory accuracy and assist with receiving and placing orders
• Work in cooler environments and remain active throughout the shift

Requirements

• Familiarity with food safety and freshness protocols
• Ability to manage inventory and rotate stock effectively
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, helpful attitude
• Attention to detail for monitoring product dates, cleanliness, and display standards
• Physical stamina for working in refrigerated environments and staying active
• Willingness to collaborate with teammates and contribute to a positive store environment
• Basic technical skills, including familiarity with handheld inventory devices and computer systems for order tracking
