Dairy/Frozen Department Manager

Position Overview: The Dairy and/or Frozen Manager oversees all functions and personnel in the department to meet sales and profit goals, ensuring efficient work shifts that support the store's financial interests. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and company policies on safety and sanitation.Manage product ordering, shelving, handling, and stocking following operational procedures.Maintain proper product rotation for freshness and adherence to plan-o-grams.Achieve financial targets by maximizing sales, gross profit, and minimizing shrinkage and expenses.Hire, train, develop, and schedule department staff.Complete departmental paperwork and ensure equipment like coolers and freezers operate correctly. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent.2-5 years of retail or dairy operations experience preferred.Basic computer skills, ability to perform math, and strong communication abilities.Physical stamina for lifting up to 60 lbs, standing, and working in cold environments.Proficiency in operating equipment such as pallet jacks and case cutters. Additional Details: This is a full-time, first shift role requiring availability for varied shifts, with a focus on customer service, safety, and department management.
