Dairy/Frozen Clerk

Location: Cub Foods Nicollet • Reports to: Dairy‑Frozen Foods Manager • Classification: Part Time

About the role

Part‑time overnight position in the Dairy‑Frozen Foods department at Cub Foods Nicollet, reporting to the Dairy‑Frozen Foods Manager. Shifts run Sunday through Saturday from 10 pm to 5 am.

Responsibilities

• Make lasting connections with customers
• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may involve heavy lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep shelves full
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
• Be part of a dedicated team that enjoys the job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, promotes customer service for the entire team
• Experience working in a dairy‑frozen position
• Knowledge of stocking, load cutting, and displaying cases
• Motivated to grow their career and continue learning

Skills

• Mental judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, basic computer skills
• Equipment operation: forklift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, compactor, baler, scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, paging system
• Physical abilities: frequent lifting/carrying over 50 lbs, pushing/pulling to 2000 force lbs, walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting, kneeling, repetitive motion (turning, bending)
• Occasional mental math/calculation, physical climbing ladders
• Environmental exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces
