About the Role

We are looking for individuals interested in day-to-day substitute teaching for the 2026/27 school year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience using technology in the classroom preferred
  • At least one year of teaching experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Able to relate well to others

Qualifications

  • Passion for teaching students
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of Atlantis Charter School
  • Understanding of the challenges students in an urban setting face
  • Knowledge of charter schools and their unique characteristics

Schedule

The first day of school is Monday, 8/24/2026. New hire orientation is provided on 8/11 and 8/12, and full staff professional development is from 8/17 to 8/20.
