Responsibilities

• Teach core academic subjects in a variety of settings including 5th-8th grade, 6th-8th Spanish, Art, Drama/Theater, Health/P.E., Music, P.E./STEM, Title 1 Reading, World Language, 1st/2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4/5th Grade Math/Social Studies, 4/5th Grade Science/Social Studies, 4th Grade, and 3rd Grade.
• Implement curriculum aligned with state standards and best practices.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional effectiveness.
• Maintain classroom management and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Participate in professional development activities and school initiatives.

Requirements

• Valid teaching license in relevant subject areas.
• Experience teaching in middle or elementary schools preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse educational settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field.
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of current educational technologies and pedagogical approaches.
