D365 F&O Consultant
We're looking for a hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Consultant for a short-term contract. The client has an existing F&O instance that hasn't been fully configured and is currently used solely for accounting (not CRM or wider ERP operations).
About the role
The consultant will assess what has already been built, correct the setup, and properly configure the finance environment. The project also involves migrating financial data from QuickBooks into D365, including data mapping, cleansing, importing, and reconciliation.
The initial build-out is expected to take approximately two months, potentially followed by an ongoing support retainer of around five hours per week. The work can be completed predominantly remotely, although some travel to Birmingham, Alabama may be expected.
C2C is preferred. The client is also open to someone who could support the project alongside another engagement or after hours.
Responsibilities
- Assess existing D365 F&O finance configuration
- Correct and complete the setup of the finance environment
- Migrate financial data from QuickBooks to D365 (data mapping, cleansing, importing, reconciliation)
- Configure general ledger, chart of accounts, AP, AR, banking, and financial reporting
Requirements
- Strong depth and experience working with D365 F&O / Finance & Operations
- D365 F&O configuration experience
- Data migration experience (QuickBooks migration experience is a bonus)
Schedule
Approximately two months for the initial build-out, with potential for an ongoing support retainer of around five hours per week.
Location
Remote with potential travel to Birmingham, Alabama.
