D2616 – BFD Refrigeration Technician, 1st Shift

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems in commercial buildings. Works closely with building management and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration issues using specialized tools and equipment.
• Install new refrigeration units as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other departments within the organization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of experience in refrigeration repair.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration principles.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor.

Skills

• Proficient in using refrigeration diagnostic tools.
• Experience with refrigerant handling and recycling.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
