D105 - Adult MH Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (Baldwin)

About the role

River Edge Behavioral Health serves more than 10,000 Georgians with mental health, substance use disorder treatments, and supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We offer outpatient services at locations in Macon, Monroe County, and Baldwin County, including behavioral health, nursing, psychiatric assessment, stabilization, and medication maintenance services, as well as crisis intervention, awareness, education, and recovery groups.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file.
• Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding, and dressing.
• Aid nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication.
• Update patient records in a confidential manner.
• Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff.
• Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families.
• Assists physicians and registered nurses.

Qualifications

• Practical Nursing Diploma
• Current LPN license, in good standing with the Georgia State licensing board
• Minimum of three (3) years of mental health experience
