D1 Training Head Coach
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, world-class Strength & Conditioning Coach to step in as the top coach at a franchise location for D1 Training, one of the fastest-growing fitness franchises in the United States. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate will be able to work with any client from day one, including professional athletes, college-bound students, adults, and young athletes. You must embody world-class character, align with our core values, and bring consistent energy and passion every day. This role involves coaching a wide range of clients, from 7-year-old beginners to elite athletes, in both group and personal training settings.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of coaches by example, bringing energy, passion, and excitement.
- Coach group fitness classes and personal training clients with expertise.
- Execute membership sales and upgrades.
- Prevent member attrition through regular goal-setting meetings and check-ins, and assist the general manager with retention.
- Participate in regular meetings with the general manager and coaches to set goals and track facility progress.
- Be an integral part of the D1 community and represent the brand both in and outside the facility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science (Master’s preferred).
- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credentials.
- Minimum 3 years of experience coaching in both group and personal training settings.
- Sales and business management experience.
- Ability to coach clients of all ages and skill levels without ego.
- High energy, motivation, and consistency in performance.
