D/L - Distribution Clerk (2nd Shift) Eyewear

About the role
The Distribution Clerk provides merchandise stored in the Distribution Center for distribution to new and existing stores.
Responsibilities
- Receives incoming merchandise/product.
- Processes merchandise/product per established procedures.
- Stocks merchandise/product to the appropriate location.
- Picks merchandise per established procedures and replenishment schedule.
- Prepares merchandise/product for new stores.
- Prepares merchandise/product for shipment.
- Completes projects as assigned by DC Supervisor and/or Manager.
Requirements
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar role.
- Excellent mathematical aptitude and numerical recognition.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested.
- Ability to communicate and cooperate with DC associates.
- Ability to use material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.).
- Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours.
- Ability to interact professionally with both corporate and non-corporate personnel.
- Prior experience in a distribution center/warehouse preferred.
- Optical knowledge and/or experience in a production environment is a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
