Cylindrical (CNC) Technician (4 Day work week)

About the Role

The Cylindrical Technician receives raw materials and shop consumables, maintains the raw materials/consumable’s locations, and pulls the required material(s) for internal work orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tru Tech and Super Tech cylindrical CNC machines to grind necks onto tooling.
• Operate Okamoto surface grinder in completion Weldon flat and whistle notches.
• Operate manual grinding machines for finished tool cut-offs and various rough-in operations.
• Operate Clemco sandblast machine in performance of Tuff Grip shank modifications and coating removal.
• Move from one work department to another based on the needs of production.
• Train other employees in general production.
• Work to shop documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle numerous tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability for organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
