Cylinder Processor

About the role

This role involves processing medical and industrial gas cylinders according to established plant guidelines and procedures. Duties include conducting inspections, filling cylinders, operating equipment, and maintaining quality control documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual, physical, and odor tests to inspect cylinders for need of retesting or repairs
• Check cylinder quantities, styles, and product types, and fill necessary products
• Load and unload product from a weekly shuttle truck
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and related equipment
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment
• Enter quantities, styles, and products filled into the computer system to justify stock inventory
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and governmental procedures
• Operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A high school degree or GED
• More than one year (1+) of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment
• A strong mechanical background is desired
• Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21.36 - $31.32 hourly.

Schedule

The role is available on a 2nd shift schedule.
