Essential Duties
- Operate material handling equipment to move components and skid as required.
- Gather all parts of the cylinder to be inspected.
- Review drawings and job standard folder, if attached and/or applicable.
- Measure all components using appropriate measuring tools.
- Determine the best and most cost-effective way to repair a cylinder(s).
- Create B.O.M. for all items needed to repair cylinder.
- Verify that all components are clearly marked with job number and place on pallet and put in review area.
Requirements
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of how seals hold pressure and able to assemble cylinders, dry test, and check dimensions
- Knowledge of hydraulic and/or pneumatic cylinders and components is a plus.
- Mechanically inclined

- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to walk.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25+ pounds.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
