About the role
We are hiring a Cylinder Control Specialist in Rancho Cordova, CA. This position is open and responsible for coordinating and managing the regional company's cylinder population.
Responsibilities
- Provide coordination and stewardship of the Regional Company cylinder population.
- Contribute to the accuracy of customer cylinder records and branch on-hand cylinder balances.
- Collaborate on reviews of cylinder adjustments to customer accounts.
- Assist local sales managers and branch personnel with large-scale customer cylinder audits.
- Review and address uneven cylinder transactions and create negative cylinder balances.
- Supportive periodic audits at branch and/or plant locations.
- Audit distributor/dealer customer cylinder balances and coordinate routine audits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Bachelor’s degree is welcomed.
- Branch or plant-related experience is a wonderful asset.
- A foundational understanding of branch and plant operations.
- A dedicated focus on building supportive client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- G-Suite (Google Applications) experience.
- SAP knowledge.
- Detail and multi-task oriented.
- Maturity to make effective decisions and welcome accountability and stewardship.
- Collaborative and self-directed, with the ability to thrive with autonomy.
- Surface issues and collaborate on lasting solutions.
- Strong organizational and people skills.
- The ability to work and foster alignment across a complex matrixed organization.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to understand the impact of new technologies on processes and assist with the integration of new technologies into day-to-day operations.
