CYCLING THE WILD ATLANTIC WAY: THE WILD ATLANTIC WHEELERS SUPPORT FUTURE DREAMS

About the Challenge

In May 2025, the Wild Atlantic Wheelers embarked on an extraordinary cycling challenge to raise funds for Future Dreams. The team of four cyclists, Hubie Sangster, Hugo Pollok, Barnaby Nunn and Flynn Noe, along with Ollie Line in a support capacity, cycled the entire 850km length of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, from Mizen Head in the south to Malin Head in the north, over a span of 6 days.

Personal Connection and Motivation

This ambitious journey was deeply personal for Hubie Sangster, whose mother, Fi Sangster, has had breast cancer. Throughout her treatment, Future Dreams was able to support her, offering both practical and emotional support. Moved by the charity’s impact, Hubie and his team decided to undertake this challenging ride to raise awareness of and funds for Future Dreams.

Impact and Fundraising Efforts

The Wild Atlantic Wheelers’ efforts have been met with overwhelming generosity. As of June 2025, the team has raised over £31,133 which includes Gift Aid and there are more monies coming in since they completed the challenge. These funds will directly support Future Dreams’ initiatives, including providing emotional and practical support to individuals diagnosed with breast cancer, promoting breast health awareness, and funding vital secondary breast cancer research.
