Cycle Counter 1st shift

About the role

Join our Delavan, WI team as a Cycle Counter and support inventory management by completing cycle counting processes, analyzing discrepancies, and contributing to inventory projects. You will help ensure accurate inventory records and work toward daily requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventory counts of product on a daily basis.
• Resolve variances between physical and actual counts.
• Troubleshoot receiving, transaction, bill of material, routing, or picking errors to eliminate problems causing variances.
• Resolve negative on-hand inventory reports, improper backflush reports, and other error logs; reconcile them daily.
• Collaborate with line supervisors, warehouse supervisors, schedulers, buyers, and accounts payable to meet corporate inventory objectives.
• Enter data via CRT and handheld RF unit to update inventory records.
• Create inventory documents and adjust/reconcile inventory in SAP.
• Complete daily activities accurately and communicate areas needing improvement.
• Follow 5S practices, support lean activities, and adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
• Support inventory projects (e.g., E&O disposition, consolidation).
• Use forklifts, order pickers, and tuggers to load or unload supermarket locations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Skills in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SAP.
• Ability to learn to operate a forklift, order picker, and tugger.
• Fact-based problem-solving ability and sound judgment.
• Works with minimal supervision.
• Actively listens and fosters open communication.
• Detail-oriented and efficient in meeting deadlines.
• Self-motivated and safety-driven.

Schedule

1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Occasional mandatory overtime required.

Pay

Hourly pay for this role is $21.00/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training.
