Cybersecurity Tools Analyst

**Description** Enable cybersecurity by maintaining operational security posture and ensures information systems security policies, standards and procedures are established and followed Ensure that Windows, Linux, and various application logs are being collected, forwarded, parsed, and reviewed with Elasticsearch Conduct vulnerability assessments on containers and analyze, research, and prioritize CVEs and their remediation Work closely with a team of engineers, including additional system administrators, network engineers, system engineers, and cybersecurity engineers, to provide high quality, innovative engineering services to the Government customer Work with system engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions Assist with the planning and implementation of cybersecurity best practices within automated workflows and processes Provide subject matter expertise on cyber requirements, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), Security Requirement Guide (SRG), JFHQ DoDIN Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO Perform other duties to support RMF, A&A, and JSIG requirements as needed Other duties as assigned **Requirements** **Education/Training:**Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or science discipline preferred Active Security+ certification required Elastic Certified Engineer, Elastic Certified Analyst, or relevant Elastic certifications preferred ```{=html} ``` **Experience:**4+ years of general (full-time) work experience required 2+ years of directly related experience Experience may be reduced with completion of advanced education Familiarity with JSIG and SAP requirements required Experience with Elasticsearch required Experience with endpoint security solutions required Experience implementing and configuring STIGs required Security Must be a US citizen Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance Physical Requirements Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.) Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time **Benefits** Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development Wellness Resources Salary $128,000 - 136,000 Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards.
