Cybersecurity Specialist
Essential Responsibilities
- Providing and supporting engineering program/project management activities including program and project risk management such as risk identification, risk analysis, risk handling, risk monitoring and risk reporting.
- Assisting Customer in performing planning and engineering analysis for the evolution of assigned projects.
- Provide assistance in the definition and maintenance of top-level system architecture and program engineering requirements and shall assist in the translation of those requirements into system concepts and plans from a cybersecurity perspective.
- Preparing and documenting security inputs for operational afloat and ashore systems throughout the system's life cycle.
- Identifying and categorizing sensitive information that requires protection to maintain technological advantages, operational security, and program effectiveness.
- Performing and documenting requirements analysis, risk analysis, technology assessments or other security-related studies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, or four (4) years of a demonstrated knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to specific technical disciplines of the SOW, including the qualifications below;
- Six (6) years of professional experience in systems engineering.
- Two of these years must have been full-time experience at the system level in any of the following areas: requirements definition, system design parameters, concepts operation, risk assessment, producibility studies/analyses, performance analyses, test and evaluation, and post-delivery support.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain SECRET Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) or Navy Qualified Validator (NQV).
- CISSP Certificate.
Compensation Details
US: $105,000 to $135,000
