Cybersecurity Solutions Analyst
About the role
OB Hospitalist Group (OBHG), the nation's largest dedicated OB/GYN hospitalist provider, is hiring a Cybersecurity Solutions Analyst to join our IAM/SecOps team. This mid-level, hands-on role focuses on identity-centric security controls, Microsoft security platforms, and automation that drives durable operational improvement across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, document, and maintain security automations, scripts, and integrations using PowerShell, Python, APIs, and Microsoft Graph
- Serve as a primary escalation point for Cybersecurity Analysts, escalating complex issues to the senior Engineer as needed
- Troubleshoot complex identity, endpoint, cloud, network access, data protection, and monitoring issues across Microsoft security platforms
- Support incident response through investigation, containment, evidence gathering, and post-incident improvement
- Implement, support, and tune Microsoft Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel, Intune, and Microsoft 365 security, including conditional access, privileged access, identity governance, and access reviews
- Configure and improve assigned security platforms, including Sentinel, Netskope, Defender, Intune, and Entra ID
- Cook up vendor escalations, tool integrations, and managed SOC handoffs
- Build runbooks, knowledge articles, dashboards, and reusable tools that help analysts resolve issues independently
- Analyze recurring tickets and alerts to implement durable fixes that reduce manual work and alert noise
- Partner cross-functionally with IAM/SecOps, GRC, Architecture/Engineering, Infrastructure, and Helpdesk/Support teams
Requirements
4+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, security operations, identity/security engineering, or IT operations
Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and operations; working knowledge of Python for APIs and integrations
Practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID and identity controls such as conditional access, identity governance, PIM, and access reviews
Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Intune, or comparable security platforms
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex security and identity issues and convert findings into repeatable procedures
Experience with ticketing, work tracking, and code repository tools such as ServiceNow, Wrike, or GitHub
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Relevant certifications preferred: Microsoft security certifications, Security+, CySA+, GSEC, or GIAC
Prior experience in healthcare, regulated, or multi-entity environments
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR concepts, managed SOC workflows, and detection engineering support

$100,000 - $115,000 annually
