Cybersecurity Senior Analyst | Threat Detection & Response (Remote)

About the role

Lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. Partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. Strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a consumer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, triage, and remediate security detections and anomalies as a front-line responder
• Lead technical investigations and communicate analysis results to technical and management teams
• Analyze high-volume data to support investigations and identify trends
• Evaluate security events to determine severity and potential impact
• Develop new investigative techniques and automation workflows for enhanced efficiency
• Mentor junior analysts on security practices and technologies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support Threat Detection & Response (TDR) and Security Operations Center (SOC) initiatives

Requirements

• 5-7 years of cybersecurity experience, specifically in threat detection and response roles
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex security data
• Proficiency in both commercial and open-source security tools
• Knowledge of security events, exploits, and vulnerability assessments
• Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, or equivalent

Pay

$100,000 – $160,000 annually
