About the role

Locations: McLean, VA / Richmond, VA / Chicago, IL

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap, backlog, requirements, and priorities for cybersecurity and network-related products.
• Work closely with Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Architecture, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Business teams.
• Translate technical, security, legal, and regulatory requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support DFS and network integrations, ensuring solutions meet security and enterprise technology standards.
• Analyze and compare regulatory requirements, security controls, legal requirements, and existing capabilities to identify gaps.
• Support local legal and regulatory audits by maintaining technical documentation, security evidence, control documentation, and audit artifacts.
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical and business documentation.
• Coordinate across the two primary technology teams and other dependent teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Communicate complex cybersecurity and networking concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Prioritize initiatives based on security risk, regulatory requirements, business value, and technical dependencies.

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Owner / Technical Product Owner / Product Manager in cybersecurity or technology.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, cyber defense processes, and security controls.
• High-level understanding of enterprise networking and network security.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Understanding of risk, audit, legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to bridge between technical teams and business/legal/regulatory stakeholders.

Pay

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 - $150,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
