About the role
The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Lead to support the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) Enterprise Pacific IT C5 Solutions (EPICS) program at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. This position supports the USARPAC customer in maintaining a robust and reliable communication and network infrastructure to execute their mission.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the resilience of IT systems and networks critical to the mission, addressing emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities in the USINDOPACOM area of responsibility.
- Supervise a large team of cyber professionals covering US Army Pacific and US Air Force Pacific Theater operations (including Japan, Korea, Alaska).
- Monitor and analyze the security posture of networks, servers, endpoints, and other systems.
- Operational planning in support of training, exercises, operations, and coordinated cyber operations against hostile adversary activities and capabilities.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, mission partners, and stakeholders to develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and solutions that enhance the Mission Partner’s secure operations in a dynamic and contested environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 12-15 years of relevant experience.
- TS/SCI clearance with access to SCI based on a Security Screening Board Interview (SSBI).
- Demonstrated 'Advanced Technical Expertise' or equivalent certification in accordance with DoD 8140.03.
- A minimum of ten years of experience integrating DoD and Mission Partner cybersecurity policies into IT projects.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
- A minimum of five years of experience managing cybersecurity at the program level, including planning, directing, and coordinating cybersecurity requirements for network and systems administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in verbal and written communication, with the ability to articulate cybersecurity requirements and concerns to senior leadership at the major command level and above.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this role is $131,300.00 - $237,350.00. Additional factors such as responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreements (if any), or other law, are considered in extending offers.
