About the role

The Cybersecurity/Information Technology Instructor is responsible for teaching courses related to cybersecurity and information technology at Keiser University. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these fields and be able to inspire and educate students.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in cybersecurity and information technology
  • Develop and maintain course materials
  • Participate in curriculum development and review
  • Mentor and advise students
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new technologies into the curriculum

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a closely related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information technology
  • Proven ability to teach effectively at the college level
  • Experience with relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students
  • Knowledge of educational technology and digital learning platforms

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with online learning management systems (LMS)
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
