About the role
Cybersecurity / GRC Security Analyst position based in Houston, TX. This is a W2 contract role requiring US citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Conduct incident investigation, alert triage, threat hunting, and endpoint response.
- Perform vulnerability management.
- Carry out risk assessments, internal audits, third‑party risk management (TPRM), compliance testing, gap analysis, and develop security policies.
- Support Azure, AWS, and on‑premises environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, GRC, Incident Response, and Vulnerability Management.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Azure Entra ID/IAM, KQL, and PowerShell.
- Experience with Tenable Nessus, Qualys, and OneTrust.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills with senior leadership, clients, legal, and business teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field preferred.
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certification is a plus.
