Candidates with strong cybersecurity engineering experience who understand foundational PKI concepts and can quickly learn new technologies are encouraged to apply. This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale security initiatives while contributing to the protection of systems that support a major airline's operations and future technology programs.

  • Manage remediation efforts for security findings and vulnerabilities from discovery through validated closure.
  • Partner with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to strengthen overall security posture.
  • Write, test, automate, and document security processes, scripts, and technical solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend practical improvements.
  • Contribute to PKI-related initiatives including certificate-based authentication, certificate lifecycle management, and related security controls when needed.
  • Operate independently while supporting larger security initiatives and strategic projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience.

  • Experience managing vulnerability remediation and security findings through resolution.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex security issues and drive solutions with minimal oversight.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand the broader security picture and work as a trusted engineering partner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to PKI concepts and certificate-based security technologies, such as:
    • Certificate lifecycle management
    • Certificate-based authentication
    • Software/code signing
    • SCEP, EST, or related enrollment protocols
    • NIST identity and authentication frameworks
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python or PowerShell.
  • Experience with security tooling APIs and integrations.

  • Experience with HSMs, key management, or code-signing platforms.

What We're Looking For

The hiring team is seeking a strong, well-rounded cybersecurity engineer who can work independently, think strategically, and contribute as a core member of the team. A deep PKI background is not required. Candidates who have strong security engineering experience and some exposure to PKI concepts will be considered.

Why Consider This Opportunity?
