Cybersecurity Engineer (Network & Security Operations- W2 only

Requirements

• Hands-on experience administering enterprise firewall platforms, including policy management and troubleshooting
• Check Point experience preferred, but not required
• Experience supporting web proxy / secure access solutions, Zscaler (ZIA / ZPA) experience preferred
• Experience supporting email security platforms, Proofpoint preferred, but comparable platforms acceptable
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, ports, routing, services)
• Experience working in enterprise, ticket-based environments (ServiceNow preferred)
• Experience with endpoint security and application control tools such as:
  • CrowdStrike
  • Carbon Black App Control
  • Trellix Solidcore or similar platforms
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to automation or orchestration concepts within security operations
• Familiarity with scripting or workflow automation tools
• Experience improving or streamlining repetitive operational tasks

Environment & Experience

Experience supporting security operations in hybrid enterprise environments is preferred, with Azure security exposure a plus, including Azure Policy, Network Security Groups (NSG), and Application Security Groups (ASG). Comfort operating in complex environments with high volumes of endpoints and security tooling is required, and exposure to Operational Technology (OT) environments is a plus, but not required.
