About the role

The Cybersecurity Engineer – Insider Threat performs a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized cybersecurity problems. Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to cybersecurity requirements. The role analyzes information security requirements and applies analytical and systematic approaches to resolve workflow, organization, and planning challenges. It also provides security‑engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine project tasks on specialized cybersecurity problems.
• Integrate electronic processes or methodologies to resolve system and technology problems related to cybersecurity requirements.
• Analyze information security requirements.
• Apply analytical and systematic approaches to resolve workflow, organization, and planning issues.
• Provide security‑engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• DOD Secret Clearance.
• Must possess IT‑I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at time of proposal submission.
• Primary DCWF Work Role 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support – Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
• Secondary DCWF Work Role 451: System Administrator – Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
• Four (4) years of experience maintaining Insider Threat solutions in a DOD environment.

Pay

Pay Range: $120,000 USD – $125,000 USD
