As the Cybersecurity Engineer, you'll be the hands-on owner of day-to-day cybersecurity across our Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. You'll help shape our security strategy and turn it into action: hardening systems, closing vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and securing the plant floor.
This position is based at Palermo's headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You'll split your time between the office, manufacturing facilities, and warehouse operations while partnering with Information Technology, Engineering, Operations, and executive leadership to strengthen cybersecurity and infrastructure across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Writing security policies, running tabletop exercises, and planning enhancements aligned to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Securing the plant floor through IT to OT segmentation, OT asset inventory, and secure vendor remote access.
- Designing hardened configuration standards for servers, network, and backup systems, and implementing them with the infrastructure team.
- Hardening identity, endpoint, email, network, and cloud security across Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365
