Cybersecurity Engineer

ITS, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO, supporting all-domain large-scale Missile Defense Systems. This role involves close collaboration with Program Managers, domain engineers, and Government counterparts across industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Apply working knowledge of DISA STIGs and other technical cyber material to ensure compliance and adherence to cybersecurity standards.
• Integrate System Security Engineering principles (NIST 800-160 v1) into project workflows.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, utilizing hands-on technology configuration and engineering skills to develop innovative solutions.
• Experience using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies.
• Conduct passive evaluations such as compliance audits using STIG Viewer, SCAP, and active evaluations like vulnerability assessments with tools such as ACAS.
• Sustain Strategic Warning and Surveillance radar systems such as UEWR, PAVE PAWS, or PARCS.
• Support DoD or Space Force technical environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Active IAT Level II Certification.
• Active Secret clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
