Cybersecurity Director - Energy Providers

About the role

This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Business Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales and growth initiatives for the Risk, Compliance, and Security Team
• Establish and facilitate business development meetings across North America
• Drive workstreams for business strategy and operational improvements
• Conduct NERC audits and enhance compliance processes
• Apply technical competencies directly with clients
• Analyze strategy implementation related to NERC and compliance
• Communicate strategies and solutions through meetings and presentations
• Ensure quality of deliverables to meet client expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or cybersecurity with 10+ years in electric utility industry, or Master's degree with 8+ years
• Experience with North American NERC Reliability Standards and regulatory processes
• Demonstrated proficiency in NERC Reliability Standards
• Successful track record in leading business development initiatives
• Strong relationships in the Utilities industry
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay

$206,000 – $343,000 annually
