Cybersecurity Design Engineer
Position Overview
The Design Engineer II is a specialist responsible for developing all Product Safety and Security controls for any assigned product. This position will be working onsite at a Gentex facility.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver verified Product Safety and Security (PS&S) concepts and design specifications.
- Find and apply the best method for any Product Safety and Security (PS&S) design engineering activity.
- Analyze incoming Product Safety and Security (PS&S) requirements and resolve all open technical questions.
- Add Product Safety and Security (PS&S) controls as elements and functions to the existing hardware and software designs.
- Derive Product Safety and Security (PS&S) design specifications from the reviewed and approved PS&S control designs.
- Document and verify all added PS&S requirements for software and hardware with the other relevant design & test engineers.

What To Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Comprehension of vision hardware and software, as well as PS&S engineering methods and design patterns.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday.
