Cybersecurity Data Analyst

Primary Responsibilities
- Build curated tables/views and semantic layers using advanced SQL for consistent reporting and downstream consumption
- Ensure data quality and reconciliation (data validation rules, anomaly checks, auditability)
- Cook up across teams (security SMEs, data engineers, software engineers, stakeholders, reporting analysts, and governance teams) to ensure alignment, timely delivery, and positive stakeholder relationships
- Work with engineering to integrate sources via Azure pipelines/functions and ensure reporting performance at scale
- Document definitions for metrics, lineage, and data contracts; support stakeholders on interpretation and usage
- Support security/compliance needs for reporting (access controls, row-level security, sensitive data handling)
- Build out dashboards when needed, provide analytics, develop monitoring alerts
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years of experience in data management, data governance, databases, and cloud infrastructure
- 2+ years of experience with SQL (window functions, incremental patterns, dimensional modeling)
- 2+ years of experience with data analytics or data engineering
- 2+ years of experience communicating/interfacing with internal or external clients and stakeholders
- 2+ years of experience working with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- 1+ years of experience building out ETL/ELT processes (preferably working with Azure)
- 1+ years of experience writing Python scripts for analytics
Preferred Qualifications
- End-to-end data engineering skills (i.e. ETL and automation tools)
- Python development skills for data analysis and transformation
- Familiarity with cybersecurity metrics and common telemetry domains (endpoint, vulnerability, identity, network signals)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.

The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment.
