About the role
The Cybersecurity Compliance Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that all DOT Security systems and operations comply with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards. This includes conducting regular assessments, implementing necessary controls, and providing guidance on compliance strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conducting risk assessments and developing compliance plans for DOT Security systems
- Ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and policies
- Providing training and support to staff on cybersecurity compliance
- Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance
- Experience with relevant regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and GDPR
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and network security principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- CISSP certification preferred
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and technologies
- Experience working in a regulated environment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
