About the role
Maintains cybersecurity posture for enterprise IT systems by conducting vulnerability assessments, compliance checks, and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Conducts regular vulnerability assessments and implements remediation strategies
- Ensures systems comply with DoD and USASMDC cybersecurity standards
- Participates in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, recovery, and reporting
- Supports risk management processes, including RMF, FISMA, eMASS, and STIGs
- Monitors and enforces Windows and network security policies
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- 4-year degree OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
- Active SECRET clearance
- DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Certification (minimum Security+)
Qualifications
- Risk Management Framework (RMF), FISMA, eMASS
- Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Incident response and vulnerability assessment
- Windows and network security
Skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
