Cybersecurity Analyst Intern

Responsibilities

• Support and perform security assessment and accreditation activities for IT systems and applications
• Conduct security and compliance audits, risk assessments, and develop security plans
• Perform system testing and evaluation for IT systems and applications
• Conduct verification and validation security testing
• Review and document policy, incident response, and remediation gaps
• Collaborate with senior professionals to develop action plans for compliance findings

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree
• Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher
• Foundational understanding of networking and operating system fundamentals (TCP/IP, Windows, Linux)
• Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity through coursework, clubs, competitions, or personal projects
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Technical aptitude to quickly grasp and understand system functionality
