Job Description

Cortina Solutions is seeking an entry-level Cybersecurity Analyst to support the execution of a complex contract supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD).

Responsibilities

• Support the mission by executing daily monitoring, STIG checks, and scan reviews that shape and protect the future of naval warfare technology.
• Provide cybersecurity and IT support in compliance with SECNAV M-5239.2 for CSWF roles.
• Maintain required certifications and training for all information systems and operating systems within the scope of duties.
• Aid in the update of POA&M documents.
• Track IAVM/patches and support system authorization and continuous monitoring activities under the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Utilize DOD-approved cybersecurity tools such as DISA STIG Viewer, DISA SCAP Tool, Tenable ACAS, and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator to assess, remediate, and report system security posture.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of relevant civilian or military professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant field of study (or equivalent experience).
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization process.
• Experience or exposure to DOD cybersecurity tools, including DISA STIG Viewer, DISA SCAP Tool, Tenable ACAS, and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator.
• Active DOD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Requirements

• Prior internship or hands-on experience in a DOD environment.
• Completed coursework or additional entry-level certifications relevant to operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows Admin).
