Cybersecurity Analyst – Miami, FL | Hybrid

About the role

Help protect critical systems and data by monitoring threats, analyzing risks, and strengthening our security posture. You'll work with cross-functional teams to detect, respond to, and mitigate security incidents that support our mission and the agencies we serve.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents using SIEM and other security tools.
• Conduct threat analysis and vulnerability assessments.
• Support incident response activities and root cause analysis.
• Maintain and enhance security documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement security controls and best practices.
• Stay current on emerging threats, tools, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CEH) preferred.
