Position Summary
We are seeking a CyberArk Engineer to support and enhance our Privileged Access Management (PAM) environment. This individual will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CyberArk, partnering with Infrastructure, Application Development, and Security teams to ensure privileged accounts are properly secured, managed, and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize the CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform.
- Manage privileged accounts, credentials, and secrets across enterprise environments.
- Configure and support CyberArk components, including: Safes, Vaults, Policies, Account onboarding, Account lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application Development, and Security teams to onboard applications and systems into the PAM environment.
- Maintain the health, performance, and security of the CyberArk platform and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Implement and maintain privileged access policies and security best practices.
- Support secret management initiatives and ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
- Affiliate with integrations between CyberArk and enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and identity management solutions.
- Participate in regular maintenance activities, upgrades, patching, and platform enhancements.
- Document configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and collaborate with a team of approximately 14 Identity & Access Management professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in: Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience administering CyberArk in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management principles and best practices.
- Experience managing: Privileged credentials, Account onboarding, Password rotation.
- Knowledge of Identity Governance and Access Management concepts.
- Experience working with Windows and Linux server environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with one or more additional PAM solutions, including: BeyondTrust, Delinea, HashiCorp Vault, Saviynt.
- Experience integrating PAM with web applications and custom applications.
- Azure environments and cloud identity security.
- Conjur (CyberArk Secrets Manager).
- Supporting application development teams with secret management.

Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule preferred (approximately one day per week in the office), with remote flexibility available.
- Preference for candidates local to the Birmingham, AL area who can work onsite one day per week; however, fully remote candidates will also be considered.
