About the role

Drive a multi-year technical training and assessment program. Leverage instructional systems design strategies and computer network operations experience to help magnify clients’ cyber training capabilities. Collaborate with military leadership, technical experts, and operational colleagues. Build, validate, implement, and evaluate critical training programs for advanced learners who are motivated to grow their skillset. Train developers as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team producing highly sophisticated, technical, hands-on training solutions to meet the mission and time-critical needs of our client. Assist in providing classroom instruction that teaches assigned students in the manner described in the Program of Instruction. Utilize your operational experience to foster a team environment of learning, progress, and excellence and help build the next generation of cyber warriors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, manage, operate, or train on networked hardware and software systems
  • Create and configure virtual hosts and networks using VMware in support of training content development or instructional scenarios
  • Develop, deploy, operate, maintain, train, or administer Windows or Unix-based operating systems
  • Assess student understanding, skills, and abilities to gauge proficiency in the subject
  • Translate complex concepts or data into graphically appealing and easy-to-understand presentations for a broad range of audiences
  • Provide classroom instruction in cyberspace operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) or Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO)
  • 2+ years of experience with development, testing, management, operations, or training of networked hardware and software systems
  • Experience creating and configuring virtual hosts and networks using VMware in support of training content development or instructional scenarios
  • Experience with the development, deployment, operations, maintenance, training, or administration of Windows or Unix-based operating systems
  • Ability to assess student understanding, skills, and abilities to gauge proficiency
  • Ability to translate complex concepts or data into graphically appealing and easy-to-understand presentations
  • Ability to navigate in an ambiguous, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of experience with teaching cyberspace operations in a formal classroom setting
  • Experience developing training evaluation metrics
  • Knowledge of commonly used software-programming languages such as Python, PERL, shell scripting, or others
  • Ability to build consensus and effective cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to adapt content development and delivery to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, project management, analytical, problem-solving, and client-management skills

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Schedule

This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.

Work model expectations:

  • Remote: Generally remote, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with possible visits to customer facilities, aligned with leadership expectations and role needs.
  • Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers as required.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
