The Role: Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. As a Cyber Threat Analyst, this role will monitor and assess potential threats and respond to active threats on both a proactive and reactive basis to safeguard Entegris infrastructure, data, and reputation. The role will help improve the overall cyber defense posture through threat detection and response, vulnerability management, and security engineering. What You’ll Do: Monitor and assess security incidents, threats, and risksHandle cyber incidents, document findings, and assist in remediation effortsDevelop processes and procedures related to incident responseConduct research on vulnerabilities and analyze relevant threatsBuild countermeasures in response to threatsSupport vulnerability management activitiesHelp implement the Cyber Security RoadmapCoordinate with other Security Analysts What We Seek: Prior Internship in this area or academic work, preferredStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong understanding of the cyber security threat landscapeAttacker mindset to help improve the cyber defense postureGood communication skillsAbility and willingness to partner with stakeholders to meet common goals Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: Computer Science or Cyber Security, graduating in Spring 2027 or later Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled studentAvailable to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through JuneMust be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op programEntegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery. Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
