About the Role

CACI is seeking a Technical Operator to fill a heavily operations-facing role. In this position, you will help plan, organize, and execute technical operations in support of priority mission requirements onsite and abroad, assisting field personnel. You will draft and coordinate operational correspondences, as well as brief and communicate operational planning to senior levels and other mission partners. The role requires a solid understanding of field operations to guide technical and operational objectives. Travel in support of operational objectives to both CONUS and OCONUS for periods of time is required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with a multi-faceted team to achieve project objectives and ensure seamless integration across diverse functions.
  • Provide expertise in memo documentation, including creation and coordination for teammates to ensure efficient communication with relevant recipients.
  • Plan, organize, and execute technical operations in support of priority mission requirements.
  • Travel in support of operational objectives to both CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Apply tradecraft to protect and safeguard agents, operations, and equities.
  • Design, implement, and manage cyber or other technical operations from initial concept to full deployment, including development of technical tools or integrating tool development into operations, access, coordination with partners, and drafting operational approvals.
  • Conceive, prepare for, and conduct technical exchange meetings (TEMs) with varying levels of leadership.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with customer systems, processes, and practices to create memo correspondence and informal communications with the field and mission partners, as well as contribute to operational process documentation.
  • Utilize customer tools and data repositories.
  • Work closely with internal and external mission partners.
  • Interact and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, conveying technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Prepare documentation, research, analyze, prioritize, problem-solve, synthesize large amounts of data/information, and work on several tasks concurrently with minimum supervision.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering) with a minimum of 15+ years’ experience in a relevant technical field.
  • Working knowledge of cyber operation capabilities.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing cyber or other technical operations from initial concept to full deployment.
  • Ability to conceive, prepare for, and conduct technical exchange meetings (TEMs) with varying levels of leadership.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with customer systems, processes, and practices.
  • Experience with customer tools and data repositories.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a high-impact, busy office and collaborate in an open environment.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing documentation.
  • Ability to research, analyze, prioritize, problem-solve, synthesize large amounts of data/information, and work on several tasks concurrently with minimum supervision.

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and good administrative and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of the OSI model and familiarity with analyzing and enumerating complex networks.
  • Familiarity with PCAP analysis, network hardware, protocols, software implementation, and services.

Pay

Final salary is influenced by factors such as geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is $131,800 - $290,000.

Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Up to 10% travel required, including local, CONUS, and OCONUS.
