About the role

The Principal Cyber Systems Administrator will support the IFICS Data Terminal (IDT) product team on the Ground Based Mid-course Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program. This is not a telework/remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Taking on progressively challenging responsibilities
  • Demonstrating initiative and driving innovative solutions
  • Leading teams and delivering results in dynamic environments
  • Supporting the GMD Weapon System, which provides missile defense capabilities protecting the United States

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 5 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience
  • 3 years of experience with Systems Administration for Linux Operating Systems such as RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • DOD 8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (ex: Security + CE)
  • Experience with various windows and Red Hat scripting using tools such as Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
  • Active Linux Certifications (Linux+, RHCSA, RHCE) preferred
  • Experience with DevOps architecture such as Kubernetes, Nexus, Docker, GitLab, etc.
  • Experience with security compliance and related security scanning products (ACAS)
  • Experience in enterprise backup and restore solutions, storage area network (SAN), and network attached storage (NAS)
  • Experience with network administration and related infrastructure
  • Vast experience with both Windows and Linux scripting languages

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance required

Skills

  • Linux and Red Hat expertise
  • Scripting proficiency with tools like Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell
  • DevOps architecture knowledge
  • Security compliance and scanning experience
  • Enterprise backup and restore solutions

Pay

Annual salary range: $98,900.00 - $148,300.00
