Cyber Security Support Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Koa Lani IT Department during accreditation activity efforts.
  • Support PMRF C-ISSM/C-ISSO, ISO, and other Government personnel.
  • Maintain and coordinate the implementation of IAVM, patches, STIG, and other security measures.
  • Aid in ensuring the safety of information systems assets and protecting them from unauthorized access or damage.
  • Support all ISSO duties and responsibilities outlined in DODI 8500.01, DODI 8510.01, and U.S. Navy Policy.
  • Participate in the NIST RMF Assessment & Authorization (A&A) process and other relevant policies for safeguarding classified and unclassified information.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft applications.
  • Experience in Information Technology.
  • Ability to learn and understand technical procedures and concepts.
  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of high school courses in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity.

Skills

  • Knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft applications.
  • Experience in Information Technology.
  • Ability to learn and understand technical procedures and concepts.
  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
